Colors: Orange and purple
Element: Fire
Altar: Set with orange cloth, flaming candles, a lantern, Jupiter symbols, books of religion, a
longbow and a quiver of arrows, symbolic horses, and a mirror.
Offerings: Candles. Arrows inscribed with hard truths. Speak a truth that it is difficult to say,
with no agenda other than to hear it said.
Daily Meal: Ginger, as a tea and an ingredient. Onions, shallots, leeks, garlic, sage.
Invocation to Sagittarius:
Archer born of fire,
Spirit of seeking,
Eyes on the horizon,
Mystical centaur
Whose gift is Clear Sight,
Bless us with the ability
To see truth in all its forms,
Wherever it is found
And wherever it may hide,
Even in its ugliest disguise,
And to speak it aloud
Without fear of censure.
By the power of all insight,
You challenge us
To never falter in our trust.
May we all go forth
In great adventure.
Chant:
I am born in fire
I come from the flame
I am truth incarnate

(Let one who is chosen to do the work of the ritual give each person a candle, and during the
singing s/he should go about with the lantern, and let each person light their candle from the
lantern, which symbolizes the search for wisdom. After the chant, the candles shall be placed on
the floor around the altar in a circle, and any meditation shall be done inside that circle, and
they shall be allowed to burn out of their own accord.)
